- PMHNP
Allison is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC). She obtained her master’s degree from Gonzaga University. During her eight years of acute-care experience working in psychiatry at Billings Clinic, she participated in forming the Psychiatric Stabilization Unit and worked on the in-patient units providing therapeutic care to patients across the lifespan. She has broad experience in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and suicide risk assessment and management. Allison now enjoys working out-patient to help clients manage their symptoms, obtain remission, and improve their quality of life. She specializes in treating depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, personality disorders, ADHD, PTSD, and insomnia. She is passionate about providing quality, compassionate, and holistic services. She uses an evidence-based approach to treatment while tailoring care plans to unique needs. Her practice approach utilizes the recovery model, encouraging patients to be active participants in their care, their treatment goals and in creating their individualized idea of recovery. Allison resides in Montana. She has lived in Washington, Idaho, and Utah, making her familiar with these states and their surrounding areas. Allison believes in bringing psychiatric services to rural areas through telepsychiatry so all people have access to care. Allison does not perform assessments specifically for paperwork completion, such as FMLA paperwork, and does not perform court-ordered assessments. It is her personal policy that if leave paperwork is necessary, it will be determined after no less than 3 appointments.

She’s great! Doesn’t need to do anything different !
She was great. I am disappointed that you cannot prescribe controlled substances. I would not recommend to anyone to sign up obviously if they need a controlled substance. But I get it.
She was great! Listened to what I felt I needed and agreed on that plan.
She was great, can’t think of anything to improve
Very thorough evaluation. I felt that all of my concerns were addressed and I was taken seriously and I have a plan which feels really great!
