Jeff's casual and personable approach to therapy is the best thing I could've hoped for. I felt like I was talking to a friend, not a psychologist or a cold, distant entity, even though we lived 8 time zones apart. He helped open my eyes to ways of thinking that I'd never considered, and learn to love myself a little bit - which is a big deal for me. To say I've made progress since talking to Jeff is an understatement. I might struggle to see it, but I've become a big part of what I wanted to be. If you feel like you need a friend, who also happens to be a qualified therapist, get in touch with Jeff. I promise you won't regret it.

Starting therapy can be a scary thing. For some people they may see it as admitting to being broken or too weak to handle their problems on their own. Others may see therapy as a waste of time or money. In reality we just need help or feel like the world is just too confusing and scary to understand or cope with. That makes total sense if we stop and look at the world around us. Sometimes life hits us so hard that we don't know what to do next. And I am here to help you figure it out along the way.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I think Jeffrey has a good heart and intent, but he may want to be a bit more thoughtful on his intent vs. his impact with his language. I shared feedback with Jeffrey and he acknowledged it, but I think there is an opportunity for him to truly own his perspectives and improve communication with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Reviewed August 2021

Overall he has great service, thoughtfull responses, and the responses are applicable/relatable.

Reviewed July 2021

Jeffrey really helped me out when I was going through a tough time. He made me feel very comfortable and he was easy to talk to, which is something I’ve struggled to find from therapists in the past. I would definitely recommend him.
