Hi! My name is Sirena and I'm a Licensed Independent Social Worker. I graduated from Ohio State with my Bachelor's Degree in 2008, from Capital University Law School with my JD in 2011, from Ohio University with my Master's in Social Work in 2014 and from the University of Cincinnati with my Master's in Healthcare Administration in 2019. Since then, I have practiced extensively with a variety of populations. I primarily work with adults, and have a lot of experience in trauma processing, couples work, and working with those who have both mental illness and a history of substance abuse. I have worked with teenagers and families, couples, individuals, LGBTQ, the elderly, and those with complex treatment needs. I believe in developing an integrative and collaborative relationship with my clients that is built on mutual trust and respect.

I've worked with Sirena on and off, for nearly 3 years as I required it. I found her to be easy to relate too, trustworthy and that she genuinely cared for my mental wellbeing and personal growth. She always responded with intelligence and understanding and I never felt judged or stupid. I enjoyed our weekly sessions and her extra weekly check ins/motivations. I appreciated her insights and would have no hesitation to recommend her to others. Especially if you're new to Betterhelp, as Sirena will give you a positive experience that will actually help you.

Perfect, ponctual, patient and understanding.

Sirena has always made herself available when needed. She responds within a reasonable time and does her best to understand my concerns and offer the right counsel.

I was more than a little leery of therapy conducted primarily in voice meetings and messaging. But not meeting Sirena in person hasn't really affected our work together. At first, I struggled with the lack of visible body language, which informs me about a person's involvement. But Sirena carefully phrases everything she says and writes, so there can't be any miscommunication. I wouldn't say that the issues that I'm dealing with on Better Help are the most serious I've had in my life. But it has been very helpful to have someone to discuss the stresses and incidents of daily life with, especially as those can quickly pile up and cause serious distress down the road. Overall, Sirena provides good, applicable advice that I can employ as needed, which makes navigating these turbulent times a lot less stressful. I'm glad Better Help paired me with Sirena.

Great messaging but she has little time for appointments but she says that from the start. But all of the counselors should have appointment time available and fit you in to schedule as soon as you finish your forms. She is great at messaging every day tho.
