Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

She’s very thoughtful and listens to me .
She listened and I appreciate that she challenged a belief I had. Made me think deeper about myself which is good.
Sarah is an incredible therapist. She is an amazing listener, is super grounded, and provides very helpful and thoughtful feedback. It's been extremely helpful to speak with Sarah during a very difficult time in my life.
I don’t even know where to begin with Sarah. Sarah and I have had only a couple of sessions together, but she is a key part of my life already. She makes me feel like my feelings are validated, gives me keys and tools to navigate things I’m dealing with, encourages me, and pushes me to really explore my feelings and thoughts which in turn really helps me be the best version of myself. I am so thankful to have found Sarah!
Sarah listens very well to my feelings and my problems. She responds with ideas and guidance, ways that I can learn to help myself when I’m in need. She follows my trains of thought, which aren’t always a straight line.
Sarah McCumiskey, in a short amount of time, shined light into issues and complexities I was experiencing and struggling with myself and the people around me for almost 20 years with no resolutions or clarity. It's like I was continuing into this void in a lost, anxious state. It only took 1 live session, and few weeks of endless communications, and all of a sudden all the puzzle pieces fell into place for the first time in my life. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND SARAH TO ANYONE AND EVERYONE.
Excellent therapist with a very practical approach. She helped me get away from diagnosis and labels and instead focus on every day techniques and mindsets I could use to navigate my anxious symptoms in the future. I highly recommend her.
Sarah is the best! I always feel better after our sessions and she doesn’t make me feel like a burden when I blow up her message board. She is very kind and I can tell that she is extremely intelligent and competent in what she does (and probably everything else!). I can tell her things I would never tell anyone and I don’t fear that I’ll be judged, she is honest with me in a kind way. I would say more but there are too many good things about Sarah to fit on here, plus I’m very hungry and dinner is ready so I shall end it here. :)
She is a fantastic listener and incredibly supported. You are in fantastic hands.
She is a very supportive and full of insights. I find myself learning something new about myself every time I speak to her.
So wonderful to have someone to open up to
Sarah has done a great job helping me better understand myself and why I feel the way I do. She offers good advice and makes me feel as though she truly wants to help.
She's been absolutely wonderful! Sarah has helped me work through a few overwhelming emotions. She even told me a few things that I didn't know I needed to hear but definitely needed to. I've gone from bursting into tears daily to being year free for 2 weeks now, the length of time I've been speaking with her. She's helped fill out my toolbox for ways to manage these situations and helped me communicate better to those around me. I feel like I'm getting better control on my life again and that's helping everything else fall into place. Thanks so much helping me!
I've only spent two sessions with Sarah, but I like her and feel very comfortable with her. I would recommend her to anyone and would be severely at a loss if I were assigned to someone else!
