Mel is a wonderful therapist, always validating and gently guiding and always so supportive. I am so blessed and thankful I get to work with her. I have grown so much in the time we have worked together.

More about me
Licensing: LPC, MA Years in Practice: 8 State: Texas
For many of us, myself included, counseling often becomes a process that refuses to come full circle. We are seeking help, but that help seems to elude us and we struggle finding the right fit or the right method that might provide the direction we need.
I was inspired to pursue counseling as a career by my desperate need for help along my life path, and my desire to provide that guidance and compassion to others, in a clear and consistent way.
I want my clients to know that although I may not have experienced exactly what you are going through, I want to be able to provide you with the power to gain some peace, and wade through that difficulty with you. You are not a problem to be solved, nor do your life issues define you. I hope to be a safe place for you, and a reminder that we all struggle and need support. I want to work alongside you to find the best way to get you to the place you want to be, using the training, knowledge, and skills I have developed to provide you encouragement and insight.

About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
