More about me
Years in Practice: 6
Are you in a new role or having difficulty adjusting to a new responsibility? Are you looking for support with managing stress and anxiety? Have you been feeling down lately? There comes a time when help is needed from a certified professional to cope with life’s challenges. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, and relational distress. I have also worked with individuals with a history of trauma and self-esteem issues.
Having worked in the behavioral health field for several years, I have worked with individuals and families in residential settings, community-based mental health, case management, and outpatient therapy office settings. I am a National Board Certified Counselor (NCC) having voluntarily met national counseling standards to improve quality behavioral healthcare. My approach is collaborative and eclectic, as I know that sessions and treatment must be tailored to meet the needs of my clients. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!
About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Ranging from $35 to $80 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
