Margaret has been great at helping me identify some of my underlying thought patterns and working through building more positive ways of reacting and coping to situations. I’m really grateful for all of her help.

Margaret is kind, thoughtful, open minded, and most of all, an exceptional therapist. I feel like she truly understands me, and gives me guidance that’s really practical and useful (even if it’s not easy!) I feel very lucky to have her in my life!

Hello!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker that has been providing therapy for 18+ years. I received my Masters in Social Work from the University of Louisville, KY. My approach is client centered and goal oriented. The modalities that I use to name a few are: Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Cognitive processing therapy, Motivational interviewing, Solution focused and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Although not useful in this platform, I have been facilitating equine assisted psychotherapy for over 18 years.

I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues,adoption/foster care, career challenges, ptsd, attachment issues, and trauma focused therapy

I can interact with you however you feel most comfortable; video or phone. My availability is weekday evenings. I realize that it can be difficult to find a therapist that you connect with, and it takes courage to take this step. I am ready to support and empower you as you walk on this journey of growth.

I look forward to working with you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
