As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) with over 7 years of clinical experience as an LCSW-C and 12 years of experience working in the field of social work, I have served a diverse group of persons dealing with a variety of behavioral health related issues. Outpatient mental health, therapeutic foster care, psychiatric hospital, and the public school system are where I have spent the majority of my career working with clients. I have worked with children of all ages to older adults on issues such as feeling overwhelmed, relationship problems, video game addiction, and psychosis. Much of my experience thus far has been in working with those faced with anxiety, behavioral issues, substance abuse problems, ADHD symptoms, and depression. Families I've worked with have expressed appreciation for my honesty, consistency, open-mindedness, goal-oriented, and empathetic approach to helping them towards recovery. I believe in the potential of all persons, no matter where their journey has taken them thus far, and I see my role as being a support in helping my families reach their next step.
Please feel free to reach out if you think I may be of assistance in helping you address some of life's challenges at the moment. Finally, pat yourself on the back for taking the initiative to address your problem and best wishes along the way.
About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Ranging from $60 to $90 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
