I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW-C) in Baltimore with experience working with a wide variety of populations. I have worked with clients with concerns ranging from anxiety, depression, sexual assault, self-harm, LGTBQ+ concerns, to couples' relationship issues, and life transition challenges. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and have significant experience working with trauma.
My counseling style is nonjudgmental and supportive. Social justice, and honoring each persons individual journey and struggle is very important to me and is incorporated deeply into my work. I believe above all in identifying the the strength each client brings to their daily lives, and assisting them in connecting trauma or learned behaviors to current needs or functioning.
Acknowledging the need for more support is a big deal, and I would be honored to assist in that journey. I believe sessions can be holy ground for support, self-awareness, and growth. I hope to begin working with you soon :)
Please note, due to licensing requirements, I am only able to work with clients who reside in Maryland. Sorry for any inconvenience!
About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Ranging from $60 to $90 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
