Therapy is a place where one can learn to explore, express, and verbalize feelings and emotions in a safe and confidential setting, while working to effect positive change in the present, and hope for lasting change in the future. I do not take for granted the amount of courage and bravery to get to this part of reading bios and making decisions about whom to make an appointment with you. I place a high regard and respect for all of my clients, and it would be a great honor to sit across from you and to affirm and validate your experiences, and to collaboratively work together.

I am a clinical social worker with nearly 20 years of professional experience who has worked in a variety of settings and populations. I have a gentle and client centered approach that starts with establishing trust and rapport. Former clients have always shared how they like my collaborative and conversational approach to therapy, as well as establishing a calming and unassuming environment for therapy.

Online counseling allows you to receive care from a mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
