Hello, I am a licensed professional counselor in Missouri with over 16 years of experience working in the mental health field. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, bipolar, anxiety, relationship issues, self-harming, self-image issues, ADHD, and others. I have also helped many who have experienced sexual, physical, and/or emotional abuse.

My counseling style is personable and interactive. I believe in treating each person with respect and sensitivity while seeing them as an individual avoiding general terms and labels. My approach is eclectic and includes cognitive-behavioral, reality, person-centered, and rational-emotive counseling. I will tailor the treatment plan and our conversations to meet your unique and specific needs. I know it can be difficult to take the first step toward change, however, if you are ready to take that step I am here to support and come alongside you.

I look forward to connecting with you!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
