It is amazing that you are here, seeking help and wanting better for yourself, you deserve this. I believe we all have noble intentions behind our actions, we all try our best to survive and adapt during times of hardships, stress and trauma. Therapy is an important part of understanding who we are, and why we are.

I received my Masters in Social Work in 2015, and went on to earn my License in Clinical Social Work. I am certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I have experience working with individuals, families and couples. I have extensive experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma, are working through depression and anxiety, and those who have been diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder and personality disorders.

Therapy is a collaborative approach. You care about your success and I care about your success, a great deal. I want you to feel heard, and comfortable, not judged. But I am also here to challenge you, to point out the dysfunctional patterns, the defenses that create walls, and the negative thinking that can become overwhelming. Using an eclectic approach rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, we can work together to learn and implement skills that can create more balance, peace and contentment in your life.

I hope to hear from you, and I wish you good thoughts on your journey towards wellness!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
