I have 28 years of experience in providing mental health counseling to individuals and couples in the state of RI. I would describe my style as "warm" and caring. I love helping people reach their individual potentials. My therapeutic persuasion is primarily cognitive-behavioral. I truly believe that the way in which we think and perceive an event is based upon life experiences and has alot to do with how we feel. If we can change the way we think, we can then change how we feel. I like to work collaboratively with a client. I see my role as a facilitator, to help you achieve your therapeutic goals. Most of my treatment expertise is in the area of depression, anxiety and issues related to sexual orientation, gender identification and gender dysphoria.
