I graduated from East Texas Baptist University with a Masters in Counseling. There I learned how to associate spirituality into the healing process . I have experience working with individuals of many cultures and ethnicities, many of which I met as a case worker in Dallas. I have also worked in a clinical, outpatient, and inpatient settings. I have worked with issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, boundaries, addiction, bipolar disorders, mood disorders, schizophrenia , and many more. I have worked with all ages from 5-99 . I am trained in crisis and suicide intervention. I am also certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

My main motivation is my love for others and I believe were intended out of love so must love to intend. I come from a Cognitive Behavior framework but integrates other counseling techniques when necessary to meet client needs.

Steven is great. I’ve tried a few others prior to finding him. I feel understood better by because he is younger than the others that I’ve had. If you’re a younger person (20’s) I would definitely recommend him for you. He’s a great listener, he’s devoted, he offers an interesting point of view that allows you to see things differently. 10/10

Steven is absolutely amazing! I can't recommend him enough for anyone struggling with addiction issues and processing life.

He takes the time to help you find a solution. He asks questions to help him understand where you're coming from, and gives you tools to help you deal with a myriad of issues.

I am very pleased with speaking to Steven about things that have hurt and having Steven listen and help me understand I can talk and get help with all these things.

I have made so much progress with Steven, and I can't imagine where I would be without his help and expertise.

What I value most about Steven is his ability to give me practical advice and skills to help me cope with the struggles of everyday life. I have never felt judged by him and I have seen huge improvements in myself since working with him.

I switched to Steven Ramage after being in therapy a couple of years after my divorce. My experience has been so positive. Sometimes just hearing another perspective and knowing you have support changes everything. I can honestly say going through this turbulent chapter in my life, having Steven Ramage just help me find ways to cope, different techniques, perspectives, and kindness with no judgment or bias has helped me find growth. I look forward to our conversations because every step isn’t feeling so heavy it feels like progress with every session. There are still hard moments but I can manage them. I am finding solid ground. I highly recommend him. It’s ok to need help sometimes, we are not made to shoulder the world alone.

I joined Steven after having my wife walk in on me looking at porn. It was a devastating time in my life. I had been in recovery for 9 years and had yet to find freedom. Steven helped me take small steps that built on top of each other to eventually lead me across the finish line, and today I am 99 days free from porn, more than I ever have been. Our sex life has never been better, my confidence at work and in life are growing, and my anxiety has become something that I can manage in healthier ways. I think back on our time together and see the deft ways he was able to keep me always moving forward -- even if it was just a small bit at a time -- and it ultimately helped me achieve the freedom I thought was never possible.
