Dr Colletti is always willing to listen to what’s on my mind. One of the things that I appreciate most is that he truly uses all of the tools. Our sessions could (and often do) take place via texts.

More about me
Licensing: PsyD Years in Practice: 16 State: Virginia
Greetings:
I am a Clinical Psychologist licensed in Virginia, with 24 years of experience of psychotherapy and psychological assessment. I have successfully treated many clients who suffer from symptoms such as Depression, Anxiety, Anger, and Resentment that have greatly affected their day to day functioning. I have extensive experience with medically ill individuals in both my post doctoral work at Howard University Hospital as well as with long term care residents and their families.
I bring a respectful, thoughtful, and candid predisposition to psychotherapy. I view my role as being both part of your inner circle of support as well as your personal professional psychological consultant who has experience with many tools to help your decision making and coping skills . I use a combination of Client Centered and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) treatment and techniques . Through this process, clients recognize and challenge their negative thoughts and then replace them with more positive and adaptive beliefs and behaviors. This in turn leads to life with less pain and grief, as well as greater joy and deeper and more fulfilling relationships.
I am excited to work with you!
Respectfully,
John C Colletti, PsyD
About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
