I've only been seeing Rev Cheek for a couple weeks now and I already feel comfortable talking to her. She is a great listener and really helps me get my rambling under control. I feel really lucky to have been matched with her. Looking forward to talking to her and learning more from her.

I am Black, and I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist who practices Cognitive Mental Health Therapy and holistic approaches to treatment. I have been in the counseling profession for 30 years. I have worked with a range of challenges from domestic violence, conflict management, youth behavior challenges, chemical addictions, anxiety, depression, phobia, PTSD, residential and in-home treatment, family and relationship issues. I also have a background and certification as a Natural Health Professional.
My clinical style is to work with the whole person, mind, body, and spirit with the understanding that every human being deserves love, joy, value, respect and purpose in their lives. I believe that what we think about, we bring about in our mind and body connection, therefore my primary approach to therapy is cognitive-behavioral while merging natural protocols, and meditation to treatment for my clients who desire these alternatives.
For me, every client that I have the opportunity to support I consider it sacred space as you invite me into your life to partner together to support you on your journey toward wholeness. I am looking forward to being in your presence~Peace

About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Ranging from $60 to $90 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
