I am a counselor licensed in Virginia with over 6 years of experience in outpatient therapy.. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, personality disorders, relationship issues, phases of life issues, grief, and trauma.
My counseling style is warm and interactive and I implement an integrative approach. I recognize that there is no "one size fits all" approach to one's mental health journey. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I will encourage an open dialogue and transparency during sessions so I can implement specific interventions and techniques you are the most comfortable with. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, DBT, humanistic, and expressive arts therapies. I will tailor our sessions and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
