Years in Practice: 20
I am a Clinical Social Worker with over 21 years of experience working in Washington, DC. Over the years I have gained experience in various modalities ranging from Aggression Replacement Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Grief and Loss, and Solution Focused Therapy, to name a few. I have worked with several populations ranging from, children, adolescents, adults and seniors. I have been trained to use the appropriate modality to help individualize each of my clients needs.
My therapeutic style is calm, engaging, and client focused. My goal is to ensure that my client feels comfortable in session to be able to work collaboratively with me to meet their therapeutic goal.
I believe that everyone has a desire to have their needs and wants met but due to our busy and challenging lives, sometimes we have difficulty seeing the way on our own. You are not alone! It is my goal to help reduce some of the pressures to help you begin to work toward achieving your goals. I commend you for taking the first step to begin your search for the best therapist for you. Whenever you decide you’re ready, I look forward to working with you!
About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Ranging from $35 to $80 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
