Kelly is great. Feels like talking to a friend and not a spooky doctor, she listens to me, helps me and doesn’t belittle me. And she deals with my stupid mouth.

I believe change is never easy or simple, but it’s worth it. It can be painful and heart-breaking at times, but it’s through digging into those hurt places that we truly find healing. I want you to move toward self-acceptance and being able to know your worth is not defined by what others or society believes is true. I am passionate about areas such as self-acceptance, self-esteem, body image, eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, and ADHD. I am a hardcore empath who enjoys helping other empaths embrace their gift and share their sensitivity with the world. I offer proven and evidenced based treatments that will help you get back to your desired objective. I am currently working toward my eating disorders certification (CEDS) through iadep, am trained in brainspotting, and am working toward my ADHD-CCDP certification.

I am just a fellow human like you. It is my desire to help you in any way I can. I realize how privileged I am to have a glimpse into others’ inner lives and I consider it as such. I know taking this first step is difficult, but I am here to be your cheerleader along the way.

It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

Kelly has been an absolute life saver! She has been the key component in the steps I have made to healing from the trauma I have experienced. She offers insightful resources as well as mind/body exercises that can be implemented into your life. She always responds in a timely manner and in a way that makes me feel understood. She is amazing at pinpointing the issues that need to be addressed and does so in an open, compassionate manner. Words could never fully express how appreciative I am to have had the opportunity to work with her!

My counselor (Kelly Brown) is absolutely phenomenal at listening and understanding my issues. She talks me through everything that I’m feeling and makes sure that I know my feelings are valid but also how to make sure I know that my feelings are not fact. Since talking to her, I have noticed a lot of my anxiety has subsided. Just talking through my thoughts with her has helped me overcome so much. I am happier with a better mindset on life. She has made me realize that it’s okay to not be okay sometimes and that in the end everything is at my own pace. She helps me talk through issues that would maybe seem crazy to other people but she helps me feel normal. She is so kind and understanding. I am not just saying this either, she’s almost like a friend and I was skeptical to try therapy at first because I was scared I wouldn’t “click” with the counselor but that was definitely not the case! She helps me work through any thoughts I have and the worksheets are always super helpful and even fun!
