Hello and welcome! I am excited to offer a specialized counseling practice that is uniquely suited to your personal needs and goals. I provide each individual with compassionate and non-judgmental support, guidance, and counseling. I will work with you to identify the areas of greatest challenge in your life and help you build skills to move toward a life of health and wellness. I specialize in relationship skills, boundary-setting/development, communication, and self-care. I’ve been a counselor for over 10 years and currently own a private practice in Los Gatos. I have also built an online practice, which has thrived for over 5 years. I believe in the positive ways in which this convenient modality can provide significant help.
I am a Licensed Clinical Counselor with both an MA and an EdM inPsychological Counseling from Columbia University in New York. I integrate ideas from different psychological theories to provide a therapeutic approach that is compassionate while being results-oriented.
Our sessions will be collaborative and centered on your personal needs. I provide a safe, non-judgmental and confidential counseling environment based on empathy and respect.
About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Ranging from $60 to $90 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
