I have specific training and experience working with emotional and physical trauma. My style is non-judgemental and empathetic; I consider myself very compassionate. I use different counseling methods depending on the situation and need, with cognitive-behavioral, reality, rational-emotive, and guided imagery as the most often used. The decision to seek therapy can be coupled with mixed feelings; I have not forgotten that as I have been there myself.
