Are you struggling to balance life’s demands? Feeling overwhelmed by your inner conflicting thoughts brought on by stress and anxiety? There is relief.
Having been there myself, I can relate and hopefully provide you with the resources and support to bring more order to your life and calm down those annoying, and sometimes intrusive, thoughts. There are effective, researched based approaches that can be utilized to manage whatever type of anxiety you may be experiencing. Sometimes it’s just the pace and circumstances of life. Many times though it goes beyond that and manifests as panic, phobias, social anxiety or obsessive-compulsive disorder.
I have over 20 years experience as a psychotherapist and coach. Prior to entering the counseling field, I spent 15 years in various sales and executive management positions within corporate and retail banking. I received a Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Western Seminary, a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame and a M.B.A. from Cal State Long Beach. My wife and I are happy “empty nesters" and we spend much of our time visiting our adult children and adorable grandkids in Southern California.
I see individuals, couples and families and my style has been described as warm, direct and depth-oriented. I'm looking forward to seeing if we might be the right "fit" to work together.
About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
