Working with Nicole was the best! She very polite and always calm. She made sure that when we communicated I was comfortable. When I was upset or wanting to cry she taught me this awesome technique for breathing that helped calm me. Nicole was attentive to me in our weekly phone conversations and made sure she comprehended that I was telling her. Most importantly she was supportive to my growth & said encouraging words that helped me. She also gave me homework & helpful articles that I read & reviewed when I needed them . I’m forever grateful that I took this chance and got paired with Nicole. She help me so much ❤️

More about Nicole

Hello!

My name is Nicole and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida and I am currently working on pursuing a dual-license in California as well. I have 5 years of professional work experience.

My goal as a therapist is to help others learn and figure out themselves through education and building insight. My therapy style is warm and supportive and I utilize Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Solution Focused therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I truly believe that each and every one of us has the strength to overcome any issue; sometimes we just need a little help reaching for that strength.

The communities I have the most experience with are young and middle aged adults who struggle with addiction as their primary problem. With their addiction would come interpersonal issues, personality disorders, attachment issues, depression and anxiety, and the list goes on. I can confidently state that I have a lot of experience in the mentioned areas as well.

Please feel free to reach out to me if you resonate with any of the above. My goal is to be there for you as guiding support, a shoulder to cry on, and a voice of reason to help you find better coping mechanisms or behavioral changes that fit.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.

Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
