I didn’t know what to expect when I started. I was going through it really hard and Michelle listened and had all the right responses. I am feeling better on my own and more so with the assistance of Michelle. I was contemplating canceling my service because at this time it’s out of my price range, getting divorced and all, but it’s worth every penny. It’s the right things at the right times and I’m very grateful for Michelle.

Michelle has helped me tremendously the past few months with her guidance and advice. She has been readily available to be and responds very quickly whenever I need her and she continuously follows up with me when she hasn’t heard from me in a while. I highly recommend her as a counselor. Thank you, Michelle!

Hello! My name is Michelle Pellin, and I am licensed as a professional counselor in the state of Connecticut and Florida. I currently hold two Masters: one in eBhavioral Medicine and Health Psychology, and the other in Human Services and Counseling. Previously, I was a licensed therapeutic foster parent for almost 20 years, working mainly with mentally and emotionally disabled teens, and adopted two of them. I also worked as a case manager for 7 years fighting for the rights of my acquired brain injury, physically challenged, and elder clients.

I have worked with all kinds of individuals, and welcome anyone who needs support, as I am open and affirming to all. I believe that as a holistic psychotherapist, one must be healthy in mind, body and spirit. I am a true believer that your past experiences have brought you to your present situations, and will be assisting and supporting you in your counseling journey. I will help you find a better, more peaceful place in your life.

My philosophy is simple. Believe in yourself. Believe in the power you hold within your soul to change the world around you. Don't let others drag you down to their level. Surround yourself with supportive people. Work hard, but make fun one of your top priorities. Reach out and give of yourself to others in need., but also give back to YOU. You are stronger than you tell yourself you are. You can be that person you want to be with the power of positive thoughts and actions.

During our time together, I will treat you with the dignity and respect you deserve, and not pass judgment. I will listen to your concerns, and provide you at times with gentle guidance. However, you are the captain of your own ship, so I will never insist on doing anything you don't feel comfortable with.

It took courage to seek help! I look forward to working with you.

I very much appreciate the judgment-free ears of my counselor! Her questions are thought-provoking and she follows up on previous conversations which helps me sort through and face the inner conflicts that concern me. She is helping me let go of misconceptions about who I should be in order to make room for the person I am meant to become. I am most grateful to her.

Michelle is a kind and respectful. She allows me to reflect and gives me advice!

Michelle was very insightful and supportive. I found her to be very helpful and readily available. My experience was positive and we moved on to in person couples counseling. Thank you!

Michelle has a kind heart

Michelle is an excellent listener and responds to my messages in a very timely manner. She is compassionate and is generous with her time and support. I appreciate the help she gave me, and it was comforting knowing I could reach out and have a response the same day. Michelle is a great therapist, I highly recommend her.

Even though it is my first online counselor Michelle is far and away the best counselor I have ever had. She doesn’t just take the snippet from your intake and try to get you to a linear path, she deals with you as you grow and as you learn new things and if something changes she’s able to go with the flow and change too. That’s been invaluable to me. I really cannot recommend her highly enough. I’m finally getting clear decent, thoughtful, compassionate, empathetic help and I really do appreciate that and her.

I was in a very dark place after my break up and trying to find myself as a woman and mother again. Michelle has helped me tremendously with my growth and I am so thankful for her.

Michelle is a very heartwarming person who knows how to listen. This was really important to me as I didn't have anyone who would understand my problems. She is also very patient, unlike other counsellors that I've experienced. I recomend her to any one who wants to feel accepted, heard and supported. Despite out time zone difference, she always tried her best at responding to me in time.
