As an (NBCC: "Nationally Certified Counselor"), and Ordained Minister I am uniquely qualified to provide Professional Counseling in wide variety of contexts. In addition to "Evidenced Based Counseling" (i.e. CBT, DBT), I also use "Supportive Counseling" which I learned in Florida working with several psychiatrists. This type of therapy was used in an inpatient and outpatient setting with a psychiatric/counseling emphasis. Finally, I use "Nouthetic Counseling" which is essentially counseling based on "The Holy Scriptures". Proverbs 11:14 says, "Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counselors there is safety. Please feel free to call, or write me with your concerns, or call at 941-203-1087!
I attempt to use all current "Best Practices" for intakes and referrals. I use certain psychometric tests as indicated. For substance abuse issues I use evidence based ASAM 1.0. I For marriage issues I use "Prepare-Enrich". For other problems I am a strategic eclectic theorist.
In closing, I am a qualified Professional Counselor using some of the latest and proven applications (Aaron T. Beck , Marsha Linehan, etc. ) but I also use The Bible as a map for Behavioral Medicine. The word "salvation" incorporates the highest healing of the spirit, soul, and body. I invite you to call me for a first interview. I promise to give you the highest qualified attention.
About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Ranging from $60 to $90 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
