I am a licensed mental health therapist with the state of Florida with experience in working with children, teenagers and adults regarding many mental health concerns. I received my Bachelors of Arts from Kent State University with a major in psychology and a minor in conflict management, and proceeded to earn my Masters in Education through Cleveland State University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
I work with individuals regarding many mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, trauma and PTSD, and issues concerning grief or loss. I have worked for years with adults with concerns related to family relationships, parenting, and managing adjustments and transitions to new stages of life. I continue to build my knowledge and awareness of cultural, religious and spiritual factors that can influence the views and decisions of others, and work hard to understand and respect where my clients are coming from in address their individual needs.
I strive to be as open and empathetic as possible in my work, and believe that you as the client should have a say in the pace, frequency, and plans for your unique needs in the counseling process. Reaching out for help can be difficult, and I firmly believe that it is my job to support you as much as possible in your efforts to better improve your life. If you are ready to commit the time and energy to making the changes you want to see in your life, then I am here to support you.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Whatever you are paying Jamie isn’t enough… She has such a broad knowledge base that, as bizarre or unique as I may think my issues are, she has ALWAYS been helpful!

So worth my time and money for the clarity that I leave the session with. Jamie truly loves her job which makes it easy to help others
Jamie is a gift to all of us who are hurting and needing support and compassion as well as wisdom and practical, useful advice. My problems were so deep-rooted and complicated that it would be easy to revert to my old ways of coping and seeking unhealthy patterns. But reviewing my interactions with Jamie is a powerful reminder of where I came from and how much progress I've made, and gives me the hope and courage to continue growing! Best therapist!
Jamie’s expertise and knowledge is far more advanced than her physical age. While she may be “young enough to be my daughter”, that has never been, nor do I foresee it ever being, an issue. Jamie has a level of maturity that makes me feel comfortable discussing anything with her.
Jamie always makes me feel heard, which is paramount to me when it comes to mental health. She has a unique way of putting things into a rational perspective that I have trouble finding for myself. Even when my thoughts are so chaotic I might as well be typing gibberish, she’s able to get to the bottom of it and ask strategic questions that lead me to a resolution or at the very least increased clarity of a situation.
Have been working with Jamie for almost two years. She has helped me disentangle stressors I have felt throughout the year of 2020, which was tough in all areas of my life. Jamie listens pretty well and takes into account personality and past to decipher triggers and what is coming up. She helps to accept myself and how I’m feeling, while also providing coping mechanisms. I highly recommend working with her, it has been very enlightening and helpful.
I absolutely love Jamie being my counselor! She is so understanding and empathetic. Since she has been my counselor I tend to think more before I react. No counselor is a miracle worker, it’s not magic and it won’t work overnight and if anyone feels that way they’re not being realistic. However if you’re willing to be patient and put the time in it can be very helpful. Jamie has helped me a lot over a period of time. More than anything she listens to me and acknowledges my feelings. I’ve noticed that it just feels good to have someone validate you and your hurt, above all this is most important, atleast to me anyway. In addition to that she’s very relatable, I don’t feel awkward or uncomfortable speaking with her. She doesn’t make me feel like she’s better than anyone else, if anything sometimes she’s more like a wonderful friend. A friend who actually listens and offers sound advice. There are things I’ve discussed with her that I wouldn’t tell to those who are the closest to me. She also analyzes for me various topics that I’ve mentioned and gives me a different perspective on how to view it. Sometimes things happen to us and we have absolutely no clue how or why it happened, we can’t even rationalize it in any way. Jamie though? She will atleast try and offer potential reasons of why or how certain things have happened, this has provided me with closure in some areas of my life. I also love how accessible she is. Even if we aren’t having an actual appointment if I send her a message she may not respond immediately, but she responds promptly, much faster than I ever anticipated. If you don’t wish to read this ridiculously long review that I have left..To sum it all up: she’s amazing. -L.A.W.
I greatly appreciate everything my counselor, Jamie, has done for me. Talking to her feels like talking to the least judgy friend ever, that has some great insights. I love how she steers a conversation and engages with the overall topics I bring up. The worksheets she sends are also helpful to keeping me thinking about what we bring up, and to examine my thoughts in different ways. I cannot thank her enough for the help she's provided so far.
Jamie listens to everything I have to say. She tries to help with my issues and gives really great advice and I love that she can give me worksheets to do so I can see myself and how I am and it helps me a lot. I love that I can just send her a message and talk to her when needed or I can send a message about specific topics or things I'd like to talk about and I don't have to wait til the next session to talk about it and most likely forget what I wanted to say. I think she's an amazing counselor and I'm happy that I was matched with her.
I’ve had a few sessions with Jamie so far. She’s been such a calm presence in my life. I love talking to her.

Jamie is very helpful and is good at explaining what’s happening to me. That way I don’t feel alone and I understand why I’m feeling the way I am.

I have been talking with Jamie for almost a year now. She is always understanding, very easy to talk to, she won't judge you, and helps in a variety of ways to work through whatever issue that may be currently going on.
Jamie is a professional and always makes me feel like she’s focused and listening to me. I really enjoy my sessions with her. Thank you Jamie!
I am so glad to be back in therapy and back with my same counselor! Although she was only my counselor before for a short while I had many Epiphany‘s with her and it’s just so great to have a counselor who understands what is going through and can stop my mind from running 1,000,000 miles a minute and help me stop and prioritize and think about what I need to do instead of freaking out and being super overwhelmed about everything. I’m really happy to be back and extremely hopeful that I will get the help I need with her!
Jamie has been wonderful to work with. I would definitely recommend her. She listens very well, provides excellent feedback, and makes me feel very comfortable. She is truly passionate about her work helping others, it really shows.
Considerate and informative feedback- thank you!
Jamie is a great listener. She also helps to dissect root issues and provides solutions to help overcome them. She’s been great with not only home life and work related concerns. I’d recommend her to anyone!
Jamie was so great in helping me get back on my feet. She knew exactly what I was going through and suggested things to me that none of my previous therapists did, or any of the many books I have read over the years. Online counseling with Jamie definitely helped me come back to being my old self when I was feeling pretty bad and unable to do much of anything social. I definitely recommend her to anyone who's considering online therapy, it works!
Jamie is an amazing counselor. She listens and helps me draw my own conclusions but supports through the whole process.
Jamie has been exceedingly helpful and knows her stuff. She has pinpointed specific ways to help me deal with my issues.
Jamie has been patient and understanding. She has given me the time to process my situation with great feedback and support. I have been able to workout multiple solutions and goals and choose the best course of action for myself. She's great support to me.
Jamie Dimacchia is extremely professional, compassionate, and insightful in her work. I am making great progress working with her.
Thanks for listening to me vent and giving me resources I needed.
I am learning a lot from Jamie. She helps me feel validated. Talking to her has been a valuable experience for me.
Best counselor ever! She understands my needs and helps me and my wife with everything we needed to be helped with. I wish we could become long term friends!
She’s been an incredible help with everything I’ve brought to her attention, I would strongly recommend her to friends and family also seeking help/guidance.
She’s and awesome counselor and has helped me out a lot. I really appreciate having her as a counselor.
Jamie has been a wonderful counselor. I really needed someone to talk to confidentially and in a hurry. This service provided the medium, and Jamie responded within hours of me signing up. Since then she has been available every day through chat, and checks in with me when I'm slow to respond. She's helped me reevaluate my issues with depression and identify sources of stress. She's been very supportive and positive throughout our time together.
Jamie is the only counselor I’ve ever had that truly understands my situation. She understands it more so than most of my family or any friends I’ve ever had. She offers practical advice that is easy to implement. She is always available and concerned for her patients. She is easy to talk to and it is so nice to connect with someone who not only understands your situation and immediately offers practical help to get you feeling yourself again, but also to just have someone to talk to!
Jamie is very kind and down to earth. By that I mean I don't feel like it is a clinical environment; I feel like she lends her expertise in a kind, supportive way. She listens well and gives sound, helpful advice.
Getting to know Jamie. So far so good!
