Hello, I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida. I received a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Central Florida in 2006 and a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Webster University in 2012. I have worked with individuals and families seeking counseling for over 9 years now. I have worked both online and in an office setting. I have worked with clients whom have a wide range of concerns including; Trauma, Anxiety, depression, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges and overall stress.

My counseling style is compassionate, kind and non-judgemental. I believe in treating everyone with empathy, respect, and compassion. And I do not believe in stigmatizing labels. I use a variety of counseling techniques that will be tailored to your needs; Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Client-centered, Strengths based, Anxiety reduction, mood management, Trauma-informed and empowerment techniques .

I have been working with Dr. Sherri Mkhwane for several months now and she has been such a help.
