My name is Kenneth Brown and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over 10 years of experience providing therapy. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Georgia Southern University and Master’s Degree from Argosy University. I obtained my State Licensure in 2013. I also have a Certification in Marriage and Family Therapy.
I have worked with clients in a variety of settings and a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, parenting problems, relationship issues, anger management, and conflict resolution. I have also worked with adults who were battling abuse/trauma.
I have a relaxed, yet interactive counseling style. My approach is a blend of Cognitive Behavioral, Solution-Focused, and Client-Centered Therapy. We will work together to build an evolutionary treatment plan that suits your needs. I believe that respect and the therapeutic alliance between counselor and client, is the foundation of growth and prosperity.
I congratulate in advance because it takes a lot of courage and determination to take steps toward change. When you are ready to start your journey, I will be here ready to provide support and encouragement.
I LOOK FORWARD TO WORKING WITH YOU!!!
About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Ranging from $60 to $90 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
