More about me
Licensing: LPC Years in Practice: 3 State: Georgia
Hello! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Georgia with over 10 years working in the collegiate athletic area with college athletes. However my last 5 years I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, OCD and ADHD or seeking out career or college decision making . I also have helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. In addition to adults, I have worked with teenagers and hold a school counseling certification in the state of Georgia.
My counseling style is eclectic, I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, solution focused, psychodynamic and reality therapy along with allowing individuals to guide their session as it pertains to religious beliefs or secular beliefs. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs as well as include specific tasks outside our sessions to foster further growth and reflection.
It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you!
About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
