BJ has worked with me mainly on my sleep anxiety over the last two months, using a combination of CBT-I and mindfulness. He is calm, a good listener and provides plenty of tools and inspiration to choose from. I would highly recommend BJ to anyone with sleep issues and/or anxiety.

Hello! My name is BJ Constantine. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor using a person-centered approach to therapy. I earned my Master of Science in Counseling Psychology (Mental Health Counseling) from Chaminade University in Honolulu, Hawaii.
I am passionate about helping people. Together, we will develop a treatment plan that is acceptable to you, meets your needs, and remains flexible as our therapeutic relationship evolves. Labels are unimportant. I believe in treating everyone I meet and serve with dignity and respect.
My therapeutic approach is improving mental and emotional health through empathy, trust, compassion, cultural sensitivity, and understanding. Hope and optimism are key as we work to develop or enhance personal strengths and solutions to life challenges.
Our goal is to help you discover a more productive, fulfilling life by including evidenced-based practices, including mindfulness, healthy sleep, physical and emotional fitness, and a deep understanding of the human experience.
Recently retired from the military, I have extensive experience in coaching and mentoring leaders at all levels; I attempt to incorporate this experience into my counseling setting, where appropriate.
My clinical specialties include PTSD, anxiety, depression, stress, and work and relationship issues. I have extensive experience with military and veteran populations.
I look forward to working with you!
About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Ranging from $35 to $80 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
