Jasmine is the best therapist I've ever worked with. She is very intuitive, especially in her ability to help me narrow the areas I need to work on.

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and board certified via The National Board of Certified Counselors. I earned my Master’s in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Specialization with a concentration in Children and Adolescent Treatment from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I have had most of my experience working with individuals with severe mental illness such as depression and anxiety; however I have also worked with clients dealing with relationship issues, parenting problems, and self esteem issues . I have also provided clinical services to individuals and families referred by the Department of Children and Family Services. My clinical experience includes both inpatient and outpatient services.
My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe that building a safe and warm therapeutic environment is essential to any therapeutic relationship. My approach combines person centered, cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and trauma-informed care. I will always tailor our dialog and your treatment plan to meet your specific needs and meeting you where you are. I value my role as a therapist and helping individuals who are in crisis. I am committed to reducing the stigma of mental illness in minority populations. I am glad that you have reached out for help and I look forward to working with you.
About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Ranging from $60 to $90 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
