Hello, my name is Kristy. I have been a licensed clinical professional counselor for over 25 years. Everyone has a story to tell. Everyone also has encountered struggle of some type.. I use primarily solution focused techniques and my faith to help individuals, couples and families find help and feel empowered.

My counseling style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

I come to her with anxiety, remembering childhood trauma. But most of all now, dealing with change and grieving over many losses, I would recommend her to anyone.

Kristy is the best, hands down. She listens with compassion, validates my feelings even when I know I'm being a bit unreasonable, and never makes me feel dumb even when I know I can do some pretty dumb things. She treats with a Godly love and with laughter in her heart. She humble and is not afraid to laugh at herself, showing me that I too can laugh when things get crazy. She is knowledgeable with worksheets at the ready and always makes me feel like she genuinely cares.

Kristy has really helped me through some tough times..

I have been with Kristy for 2 and a half months now. I just recently went through a tough break up with my boyfriend of 7 years. Kristy has really helped me feel valid about my feelings and has helped me set boundaries. I go to Kristy if ever a situation with him comes up and she’s always there to make me feel important. She makes me feel like I’m not alone in my thoughts. Not only does she ask about that situation, she asks me about my work/school life as well. One thing I love about having Kristy as my therapist is that she will respond to my messages as soon as she can. She’s very active on BetterHelp and will make sure she can help out. She tries to accommodate to you as much as she can. Kristy is my first therapist I’ve had and I love working with her!

Kristy is amazing!

I happened upon Kristy after not wanting the first therapist suggested for me! It was the best ‘happening’ for me. I came to Kristy broken, bitter, angry and hopeless after separating from my husband. She has poured into me so much that in just a few months we’ve been meetings, I’m ready to move forward in my life, my hope is being renewed, my confidence and faith have grown and so much more! She has a lovely soul and such a kind demeanor. I never felt invisible or less important with her. Highly recommend connecting with her!!

I came to Kristy with "anxiety, childhood trama many things, Kristy is on time in getting back with u as soon as she can. She will do all she can to get you in the time that u have. She will work with you on many things that u come to her with. She is easy to talk to, She comes to the table with many things of how to help you. When i came to Kristy, "TRUST" is something that I did NOT have in the Human race. I came to Kristy with everything, even the kitchen sink. It was NOT bad enough to have " depression,NO,NO self esteem, Relationship issues,stress anxiety, grief, BUT to come to her with flashbacks of a childhood once forgotten in the 'Pits of MY own hell.. Kristy is a great listener and always offers suggestions and provides reference materials for me to achieve the goals I have for myself during counseling. She is extremely friendly and warm during our video sessions. I look forward to our sessions each week.

Krsity goes above and beyond what she can do to help u. IF the time's that she has open does not fit what u have. she will do everything in her power to get u in and give the time u need. If u get off the path just a bit,she helps get u back on. She may have be "to the POINT WITH U," But its out of "Christen Love that she has to,to help u see the path u are on,maybe the wrong one and will help u get on the right now.BUT slowing dealing with the things on the path weather its self esteem,grief, anything, Kristy is there WITH U EVERY STEP OF THE WAY. I can't say enough about the help Kristy has provided me and the better person she has helped me become. She can be tough me on me when I need it but also prop me up when I'm down and out. Her best quality in my opinion though, is quick responses on the Better Help messaging app. There are times I can really use some advice and support in between sessions and she's always there for me.
