For this reason, I offer a wide range of evidenced based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). My basic approaches are Solution Focused, Client Centered, skill based, and holistic, with the aim of individuals achieving their goals and balance in major life areas.
I have a Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale campus. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), and a Co-occurring Addictions Professional (CADC/MISAII), with extensive experience with opioid addiction, including Medicated Assisted Treatment (MAT). I also have experience working with state agencies, such as DCFS, probation, and parole.
