I haven't worked with this therapist for long, but I absolutely love her. She has a unique way of maintaining professionalism while still being human and is good at picking up details and asking questions accordingly. She's very honest, and at times direct, but always remains considerate and empathetic, and overall working with Christine feels like having someone to support you through out your journey versus someone trying to tell you what your journey is, which I find very beneficial and refreshing.

I consider myself fortunate to have worked in the mental health field for over 20+ years. I have a Master's Degree in Clinical Social Work from New York University , as well as Post- Master's Education/ Advanced Certificate Degree from NYU.
My background is varied , with significant experience in Disaster Mental Health / Crisis / Trauma ; Foster care and Adoption , Chronic Disease. Mood/Bipolar Disorders, ADHD, Depression & Anxiety, Sexual Abuse Trauma, Persistent Psychiatric illness, Couples Treatment, Academic -related Issues , etc.
I am passionate , and deeply committed in my mission to help others navigate through their unique life journey. I utilize a collaborative approach to therapy, wherein we work together to find solutions and alternatives.. I support others in their effort to see life through a different lens... To consider other life perspectives , with the ultimate goal of forging a sense of hope, healing ...and a new pathway forward .
I truly believe that we all have inherent gifts and strengths. However, sometimes we encounter difficulty accessing the power we all have within us to succeed and overcome life's challenges.
Everyone is fighting their own unique battle: to be free from the past...to live in the present...and to create their future . You are not alone.
Life can be more difficult than we often anticipate at times; steering us onto unpaved roads, throwing us unexpected curve-balls... Sometimes , piling way too much on our plates at once.
Therapy can be the missing link: to facilitate your healing , to support you in living a healthier life... and in leading a more productive life .
Be your authentic self...
It would be my honor to assist you in your journey!

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

Christine is a vey understanding therapist that has helped me with my anxiety issues and giving me those tools. She is professional, on time and always have a great session. I always walk away from computer feeling at peace. Thank you so much for being my rock in therapy.
My first time with a therapist and she is such an amazing person. Really understands me and is active in wanting me to better myself.
Christine was awesome. She helped me at a really low point in my life in my relationship and helped me see things for what they truly are. She listens very well and really understands people. I didn't get the chance to say this but thank you for being kind, humorous and insightful Christine! It was great working together with you
Christine is totally awesome, I can talk to her about anything. She is there for me and I walk away from our session feeling so refreshed and calm. Thanks for the support Christine.
Christine has been a massive help for me during the end of my marriage. Helpful, supportive and allows me the time to go through what I am feeling. Thank you Christine!
Christina MacNaughton was an incredibly helpful and uplifting influence during the sessions I had with her. I was in a really bad place when my long-term relationship ended and wasn’t confident initially about receiving weekly therapy sessions. She helped me realize certain aspects about myself and how I honestly felt about my former partner and came to conclusions that helped me in my path to move on. She’s kind, personable and transparent; just the kind of person you’d need if you feel like it’s difficult to open up and trust new people. If I were ever to return to therapy, she would be the first person I would request a session with. Thank you so much Christie for helping me realize certain things and hope to be a more thoughtful and practices in love and relationships.
Christine is an amazing therapist. She’s a great listener and really helped my mental state as I was making a huge decision in my life. She’s been so supportive and gives great advice on life/work/family.
She is very helpful
Christine is an exceptional therapist, great listener and well aware of what her clients need. Would definitely recommend her to anyone thinking about starting therapy and dealing with anxiety, break-up downs and work issues.
Christine gave me great advice in a really difficult moment in my life. I could not be more grateful... Still healing and learning , I wish I could have contacted her before everything got out of my hands
