I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with over 12 years of experience working as a counselor and mentor. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, behavioral/career challenges, and ADHD. I also helped many people who have experienced self-esteem concerns.
My counseling style is sincere and person centered. I believe in treating individuals with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, I believe that problems can lead to redemptive purpose to overcome. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, motivational interviewing and brief solution focused counseling. One primary goal is to acknowledge a treatment plan to meet your unique and specific areas that will be addressed. Of course during this process additional goals or concerns may need to be evaluated in counseling.
I appreciate your willingness to meet the challenges you are facing and hope that I can provide the support and resources as you move forward in life.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.

I really appreciate my sessions with Charles Anderson. He's very down to earth and communicates effectively. I have noticed a definite change in my behavior and I'm excited to keep on pushing through challenges and living intentionally again. Highly recommended.
Charles is very patient and a very good listener. He has a lot of insights and experience to use during sessions. He is helpful and an effective communicator.
Charles is exactly the help I was looking for in terms of recovery of my issues. He listens to what I am saying and responds accordingly - I never feel like he is talking over me or giving me canned advice. There is support as well as hard truths, but I end each session with the tools I need to overcome them.
Andrew takes his time to listen and understand where you’re coming from. He offers solid advice and shows tremendous empathy.
Charles listens and asks the right questions to get to the cause. He also gives a lot of insight and personal stories from his own life as well.
Charles is great! He listens and understands what I am going through in life. He gives me exercises and suggestions to help me cope with my depression and anxiety.
Charles has been great so far in my therapy journey helping me challenge my old ways of thinking and implementing new strategies to help make me the best possible version of myself. He has helped me turn negatives into positives and already helped me gain confidence in a variety of aspects in my life.
Mr. Anderson creates an environment that is safe and professional, while also being personable. Importantly, he has an appreciation for cultural differences that enables him to not be judgmental of my family/community. He has been very helpful in providing a space to share/dump/blab regarding what is happening in my life but effectively also turn the conversation towards a productive action item or specific topic to reflect on for next time. It’s more than me just venting (my expectation) - it’s pushing towards a solution. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you Mr. Anderson!
My results with Charles have been nothing short of remarkable. I was deeply depressed and he was able to show me how my thoughts and behaviors created my negative feelings, and how I could break that cycle to rise out of depression and escape my emotional anguish. I had low expectations going in and he exceeded them all. I'm no longer depressed and looking forward to my future for once in my life.
