Ashwini was very knowledgeable and comfortable to work with. I was amazed at how quickly she identified exactly what I was going through and gave me the tools I needed to starting work through my grief. She has been an immense help to getting me on a path to healing.

I’ve only had a couple sessions with Ash, but she is by all counts incredible. I feel deeply supported and grounded during our sessions, and she has given me practices to reach that same state of mind in my day to day life. Of course, I’m still working on those thoughts of self doubt and self sabotage, and some more heavier topics that I’ve yet to come to terms with, but I’m so pleased with how she’s been so far and only looking forward to more.

Namaste, my name is Ashwini Gupta and I am Therapist/Intuitive Life Coach specializing in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as well as Vedanta and Mindfulness-based practices. With 20 plus of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges, I am passionate about empowering my clients to live more meaningful and fulfilling lives truly being in touch with the essence of soul identity.

Using ACT as my primary therapeutic approach, I create a warm and non-judgmental space where we can work together to address difficulties such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. ACT combines mindfulness, acceptance, and behavior change strategies to guide clients towards psychological flexibility, allowing them to better handle distress and align their actions with their deeply-held values.

What is ACT?

At its core, ACT is a behavioral therapy: it’s about taking action. But it’s not about just any old action. First, it’s about values-guided action. There’s a big existential component to this model:

**What do you want to stand for in life?

**What really matters, deep in your heart?

**What is the legacy do you want to create for yourself?

ACT gets you in touch with what matters in the big picture: your heart’s deepest desires for who you want to be and what you want to do during your brief time on this planet. You then use these core values to guide, motivate, and inspire behavioral change.

What is Vedanta?

Vedanta is one of the world's oldest philosophies which affirms the oneness of existence and the divinity of the soul. A close look at the word "Vedanta" is revealing: It is the combination of 2 words: "Veda" which means 'knowledge' and "anta" which means 'the goal of'. In this context, knowledge refers to understanding one's own divine nature- meaning and purpose in life

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Ashwini is the best! She's direct, efficient and thoughtful. It's nice to have a therapist who tells it to you straight and doesn't take you in circles to end up at an end result. She takes you right to the answer and gives you the tools you need to put things into action!

Reviewed November 2019

She is incredibly supportive and receptive. I feel as though she is very kind and positive and reinforced a lot of things I needed to hear to help me heal, made me feel safe, and heard.

She’s very understanding, down to earth, and keeps it real.

Reviewed November 2019

I have never in my life spoken to a therapist. I've been brought up to project strength and hide weakness and rarely talk about feelings. Needless to say, therapy was foreign territory to me. I feel very lucky that I was paired with Ashwini. She's direct yet also compassionate. I have found our sessions to be extremely helpful and will continue speaking with her.

Reviewed November 2019

She gives me a logical insight to help prevent me from making decisions based on emotions. I appreciate her approach and timely responses.

Very professional. Knowledgeable. Considerate.
