I have been through many therapists in my life but none were as caring and as thoughtful as Stacy. She asks me just the right questions and empowers me to make good decisions for myself and, if I don’t, to have compassion for myself. Highly recommended!

Welcome and congratulations on taking this leap into the space of counseling for yourself! I know it can be an incredibly vulnerable decision, and I am excited to work with you in taking this courageous next step into a healthier and more fulfilling life.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Colorado. I completed my Masters in Social Work at the University of Denver in 2012. I am also a spouse and mom to one toddler and one dog. I am also a trained Co-Active Coach, focusing primarily on leadership, issues of shame and guilt, and helping individuals find what they are most passionate about. I have completed Brené Brown's Dare to Lead workshop and currently work with leaders at all levels on becoming the best version of themselves.
I have extensive experience working in and around the child welfare system, both with families of origin as well as all types of caregivers supporting children. I am experienced in supporting those who have experienced abuse and/or neglect in their own lives, as well as those caring for children who experienced trauma. I am also committed to supporting first responders in avoiding compassion fatigue and maintaining passion for their work.
As a clinician, my approach is energetic and compassionate. I believe in a solution-focused, strengths-based approached to working with people, and see individuals through a whole-person lens. I enthusiastically welcome people from diverse cultures and identities. I also know how important it is to find someone who you truly connect with in order to open yourself up to creating the life you want, and I look forward to working with you should I feel like the right fit!

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Stacy is fantastic. She listens to me and asks me just the right questions to get to the heart of the matter. I had two other therapists before Stacy who were good - but she is great. I am so glad I found her. I never miss a session and often want to talk more than once a week. I highly recommend Stacy.
I love working with Stacy! I have never been completely against therapy but have always been uncomfortable talking about my problems with others; Stacy made me feel very comfortable and has been very easy to talk to! She listens to what I have to say and has been helping me make some really good positive changes in my life! I wanted to get therapy to get back to the person I used to be and Stacy has gotten me there! If it wasn't for Stacy helping me work through my thoughts, I would still be in a toxic relationship and dealing with family issues that were making me very unhappy! I feel like a new person and I can't thank Stacy enough for her help!
Stacy has really helped me feel comfortable and like I'm making progress, she's really great.
Stacy has been extremely helpful throughout the therapy process. She has helped me to understand myself and my needs better.
