Born number seven of eight children in a small village in the southern United States, I’ve known from an early age, that God called me as a helper, encourager, and guide. My gifts, skills and desires wholeheartedly used even as a young child, and relentlessly pursued over the years through formal education and training are unique to my purpose as a gifted, compassionate, empathetic Licensed Professional Counselor, Christian Counselor, and Life Coach. With over 23 years’ experience, I have worked with diverse clients from children to adults, experiencing a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety and ADHD; ranging from relationship, parenting, and career challenges; and across various settings. I also help individuals who have experienced traumatic life events.
My theoretical orientation is primarily integrative, and may include cognitive-behavioral, cognitive processing, solution-focused, holistic, person-centered, Christian, and experiential techniques. My role as Counselor is to provide an atmosphere that will allow you to take a closer look at your thoughts, feelings, and actions, while guiding you on your journey of change and purpose. This is done by providing and utilizing the most appropriate interventions to yield optimum results to best serve you.
Counseling is “heart-work” for me, and I am committed 100% to assist you with accomplishing positive change in your life, and ask that you commit to yourself -- to do the same.

Online counseling, also known as teletherapy, is a method of delivering mental health services through digital means such as video conferencing, phone calls, or messaging platforms. It can be an ideal option for individuals who have difficulty accessing traditional therapy due to geographical distance, time constraints, or personal preferences like privacy and comfort. Many people find it easier to open up from the familiarity of their own space.
Teletherapy has been found to be highly effective, with studies showing that it can produce similar outcomes to in-person therapy, particularly for issues like anxiety, depression, and PTSD. The flexibility and accessibility it offers make it a valuable alternative to conventional therapy settings.
