Taryn is very kind and personable. I feel safe and confident talking with her and sharing my problems. She gives me her unbiased perspective to help evaluate situations with a wider lens. She is a good listener and most times I come up with my own realizations just by voicing my concerns to someone else. I notice my patterns when similar issues come up again and again in different circumstances. Looking over my diary entries also helps me identify patterns that are sabotaging my growth. Sometimes I share my entries with her just to have a second set of eyes on my unfiltered thoughts.

About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Ranging from $60 to $90 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
