Hello! I am so glad you are here. My name is Sara Barber and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been working professionally in mental health for the last 3 years. During that time I have worked with individuals of all ages, from children to adults experiencing everything from anxiety and depression to family dysfunction, developing coping skills and self-care plans, big life transition and adjustments, low self-esteem and confidence, and LGBTQ+ issues.
My goal as a therapist is to meet you where you are. Attending therapy for the first time or the millionth time is never easy, I strive to make our time together positive and productive even when discussing and exploring difficult topics. I believe that therapy should be a space where you can feel safe to explore and discuss whatever it is that is creating difficulty in your life as well as a space to celebrate your accomplishments and achievements.

Amazing and great listener
Sara is absolutely amazing. She gives excellent advice that is not only down to earth but also very rational. She's helped me feel more comfortable with accepting the difficulties of a long term relationship ending. Like myself, she's a millennial, which definitely goes a long way in making me feel safe around someone who understands/shares what being a millennial is like, especially in our always online internet age.
