Contacting a counselor to assist you and/or your family may be a difficulty decision. However my goal is to use my knowledge, skills, abilities, and life experiences to be of service to you. I like to develop a positive, trusting rapport to enable us to work together to meet your goals for you and/or your family. I look forward to working with you.

About online counseling

Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Ranging from $35 to $80 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.

I am very thankful to have Janet as my counselor. I was skeptical about beginning with BetterHelp and I am relieved to find that it has been a positive experience. Janet is easy to talk with and has helped me gain a better perspective on issues. I am comfortable with our sessions and look forward to the journey with Janet's help!

Overall

Janet is a spectacular counselor. She listens intently to your concerns and is able to draw out amazing points of view or fish out the true deep emotions you are unaware of. within yourself that can be hindering you. She has helped me to understand my emotions and situation on a higher level. She is encouraging and helps you to feel secure and confident. She is great at asking questions to help guide you to your own personal goals. In just a couple of sessions, she has helped me to see myself from the outside and ground myself.
