For someone who struggles to express themselves with words, it has been extremely helpful to have Jennifer help me in identifying and articulating what I'm feeling and thinking. Through our sessions I've gone from being a closed off emotional wreck to an emotional wreck who can articulate what's going on in their life and start taking steps towards fixing themself. At the end of the day your therapist is simply there to help get you on track. You have to be the one who sets the course and continue moving forward.

More about Jennifer

  • 12 years' experience
  • Female
  • LMFT

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Georgia with over 12 years of experience supporting individuals and parents as they navigate life’s many challenges. I work with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, difficulties with motivation, and the stressors that often arise from unexpected life transitions. I also have extensive experience helping parents manage the emotional and practical demands of parenting.

At the heart of my work is the belief that meaningful change happens within a genuine and collaborative therapeutic relationship. I strive to create a supportive, authentic, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences and reconnect with their true selves. I value client autonomy and see therapy as a process of empowerment helping clients gain insight, build confidence, and make choices that align with their values and goals.

My role is not to tell clients what to do, but to walk alongside them as they discover clarity, resilience, and a deeper sense of self-trust.

Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.

Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.
