Online counseling, sometimes called teletherapy, refers to talk therapy delivered remotely through digital platforms, such as video calls, phone calls, or chat. It can be a great option for people who face barriers to traditional face-to-face therapy, such as those living in remote areas, individuals with mobility issues, or people with busy schedules that make it difficult to attend in-person sessions.
Teletherapy also offers greater convenience and flexibility, allowing clients to access care from the comfort of their homes. Research shows that the treatment outcomes with online counseling are often just as effective as with traditional therapy, providing a viable alternative for individuals seeking mental health support.

Great therapist
So far, she’s great!
Sharon I really appreciate your advice and support. She’s pretty amazing
I decided to go back to in person therapy which is why I discontinued working with Sharon. She is a great therapist and I would highly recommend her to anyone!
Sharon is amazing. I would not have taken care of many things if I didn't work with her.
Sharon was great in helping me uncover patterns and trends that I’ve carried since my childhood into my now adult life. Working with her has opened up my perspective about myself and the relationships around me in a positive way. I’m truly grateful for her service and our sessions!
Sharon helped give me a lot of much needed perspective on a lot of things, and was a great source of support and wisdom during a difficult time. She’s very warm and patient and I could not recommend her enough.
Sharon always makes me feel comfortable and I really value the advice and tips she has given me throughout our sessions. I feel like she gives me applicable advice that I can take into my day to day life.
Excellent therapist! Definitely saw and felt a positive change after a few weeks of seeing her.
I've only had 1 meeting so far with Sharon, but it was very helpful. She asked questions and listened to my answers and provided feedback. I'm excited for future sessions!
Best therapist I have had
Sharon helped me make life affecting decisions in a positive way.
Great Therapist so far!
I’ve grown and learned so much. I am thankful to do this healing work with Mrs. Black.
Sharon empowered me. After my sessions with her I feel renewed and confident to overcome my obstacles. I am so grateful to have the opportunity to work with her.
Sharon is absolutely wonderful! I have been having therapy with her for nearly 3 months and am such a stronger person because of her. Sharon is so warm, approachable and positive and a credit to BetterHelp. Thank you for everything!
Sharon is a great therapist and person. We have some similarities in the way that we think and it made our sessions flow so much easier.
I had my skepticism about therapy and enjoyed self reflecting. However this pandemic made me realize that I need help. Sharon has been tremendous help. I feel like I can trust her and she listens. She’s gentle and direct. I enjoy our sessions and can see the difference they’ve made. It’s only been a few sessions but I already feel like she is the family member that I needed, the friend that I needed. I would highly recommend. She’s warm and welcoming. Sometimes you can feel like a mess and judged but with her I feel safe with her and trust her with the truth. I look forward to opening up more. This is my first experience with therapy and she’s made such a positive impression.
Ms. Sharon is a great therapist. We connected very easily and as time went on I became very comfortable with her.
Sharon is very good.
Mrs. Black has been a wonderful help to me. She listens and draws from her own life experience to assist me with the help I need. She listens well and offers constructive comments and ideas to help me come up with solutions. I highly recommend her!
10/10
Ms. Black is very professional and she has helped me greatly. I have just started therapy and so far, it is going well. Thank you.
She is the best
I only got to spend a short amount of time with Sharon, unfortunately. She is attentive, kind, and gets right to the point. She explained things to me in a way that I had not heard before, even as someone who has gone to therapy numerous times in the past. She is wonderful and I highly, highly recommend her.
Sharon is absolutely the best. She really listens to you and doesn’t make you feel like you or your feelings don’t matter. She has an aura that makes it easy for you to open up and in sessions it feels like a conversation rather than an awkward encounter. She is definitely my motivator as well and is challenging me in my journey. 10/10 would recommend!!
Sharon is wonderful! She is down to earth and relatable.
I have just recently started sessions with Sharon and I am already feeling very good about the work we are doing. She is patient, kind, and understanding. She is my cheerleader and that is just what I need right now. We do not live in the traumas of the past, we look to the happiness of the future.
She is a great counselor
