More about me
Licensing: LMFT Years in Practice: 3 State: California
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), who has been working in the mental health field since 2016. I have experience working with Severe and Persistent Mentally ill clients, and victims of trauma. I have extensive training in Trauma Focused CBT. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, substance use issues, career challenges, persistent suicidal ideation, and psychotic disorders.
My counseling style is warm and interactive, with a Christian background while applying biblical principles to promote emotional well being. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, solution focused, and client centered counseling. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs, while including biblical scriptures, guided prayers, and mindfulness techniques.
I have experience as a youth leader within the local church and have been involved in many services promoting spiritual growth.
It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.
I look forward to working with you.
About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Ranging from $60 to $90 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
