Matching with Sharon back in November 2022 was probably one of the greatest decisions I have ever made. She has helped me get through the toughest times. From leaving my family to dealing with a medical condition. She’s very caring, supportive and super knowledgeable! I feel so safe and comfortable with her, and always look forward to our video calls. Hands down the best therapist I’ve ever had!

More about me
Licensing: LCSW Years in Practice: 11 State: New York
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)/therapist licensed in New York State. Over the past five years, I have provided therapy to a diverse group of clients dealing with depression, anxiety, interpersonal issues, parenting problems, and attachment-related traumas. I have also supported many people who have experienced sexual trauma, physical abuse, or emotional abuse. Prior to working as a therapist, I worked for six years in an evidence-based, behavior modification program that stabilized families in crisis who were considering out-of-home placement for their child due to interpersonal, societal and environmental stressors.
My therapy style is warm, client-focused, and empathetic. I believe that dignity, compassion, and respect are at the heart of a transformative therapeutic relationship and that with the right support, people can achieve their desired outcome. My approach is strengths-based, client-centered, evidence-informed, trauma-focused and solution-focused.
It takes courage to face our reality and to take the steps to connect to a therapist that is a good fit. When you do, I would welcome the opportunity to support you.
I look forward to working with you!
About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Starting at $65 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
