I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over 11 years of experience working in the mental health field. I have provided case management services, group therapy sessions, individual therapy sessions, therapy at school, and tele-health services. Additionally, I have even served as an in-home therapist providing mental health services in the home. I have worked with clients from a broad range of concerns including: trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, family dynamic distresses, poor communication styles, and emotional abuse.

My counseling technique is very caring, encouraging, and client centered. I am very candid and direct when providing therapy. I take pride in demonstrating compassion and being sensitive and thoughtful of the needs of others. More than anything, I strongly believe in treating everyone with respect and dignity.

I’ve tried a few therapist and Carleen is just different and is such a great fit “for me”! She’s very warm, kind and understanding and she helps me see and understand things I’ve never considered. She motivates me and creates clarity in mind. I look forward to every single session because I know I’m going to leave with some type of growth and/or insight.

She is good at what she does. She listens and understands my concerns. I would recommend her service.

As a therapist myself, I was skeptical of online therapy. However, Carleen has exceeded my expectations. She is empathetic. But she challenges my distorted thoughts in a way that isn’t off-putting. She is supportive without enabling. She genuinely cares while maintaining a professional boundary. And she helped me through one of the toughest times in my life.
