I am a clinical social worker licensed in the state of Maryland. I have 6 years of experience in the field. I have worked with clients with various concerns such as depression, anxiety, family issues, relationship issues, parenting issues, ODD, ADHD, and trauma. I received my MSW from Salisbury University in 2015 and my clinical licensure in 2019. Some of my practice styles come from the strength’s perspective, solution focused therapy, and dialectal behavior therapy. I believe in helping clients identify their own strengths and what their ideal situation would look like in order to take achievable steps towards their goals. I also believe that client’s need a safe and neutral platform to verbalize and process thoughts and feelings.
I work with individuals of all ages, children, teens, and adults for individual and family therapy. My style of therapy is very inviting and interactive. I believe in showing my clients the upmost respect in a empathetic and sincere manner. I provide therapy in a nonjudgmental manner allowing clients to be their true selves through the therapeutic process.
I believe seeking therapy is the first step that an individual can take to make major steps toward change and commend those who do! I love the work that I do and the individuals I assist in becoming their best selves. I am excited to be working with you!
About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Ranging from $60 to $90 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
