I am a trauma therapist that is specialized in working with clients that have stress management needs, trauma, and anxiety, racial trauma. I work with clients that have PTSD, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. As a Black LGBTQ+ therapist, I work well with clients of color, LGBTQ+ clients, and clients with the above diagnosis or needs. I got my Masters of Social Work from Rutgers University in 2015 with a specialization in clinical social work, focusing on medical and public health social work to help with managing medical issues and mental health needs as well. I obtained my graduate-level license in 2015 and worked as an ICU social worker and a crisis clinician for the years until I was clinically licensed with my LCSW in 2019. I have been working in my private practice as a clinical license since December of 2019. I am looking to continue to work in the field with new clients who have needs overall for trauma, anxiety, and/or depression. I have experience working in trauma-focused- cognitive behavioral therapy, person-centered therapy, brief solution-focused therapy and DBT skill-building, and general CBT treatment therapy.
