I am trained in Marriage and Family Therapy and have served as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor for over 25 years. I have served in both public and private mental health agencies, primarily for those seeking help with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, addiction and domestic violence.

Any client who has the courage to seek counseling is someone worth celebrating. With gentleness and warmth, I try to focus on each of my client's strengths to help them in the area they desire to change. My approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotional Focused Therapy, Systemic Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy as appropriate. I will tailor my dialog and treatment plan to meet the client's concerns. Each client's faith and moral values are recognized as a foundation for their desired growth. I look forward to meeting you.

Charles was a fantastic listener who was very supportive and helpful. He made me feel comfortable for the first minute and his gentleness helped me feel like I could be open and honest.

Charles’ expertise and wisdom is something that can be taken note of almost immediately after one or two encounters. Charles’ gentle nature and calm demeanor come second nature to him. It is quite obvious that he has spent a lifetime honing and mastering his craft. I’ve often found myself hesitant to open up to other therapists, but he has a way of quickly breaking down barriers and peeling back the layers. During our sessions, I feel as if I’m speaking to a friend; a mentor that I’ve known most of my life. He is quick to relate and find common ground. I would highly recommend Charles to anyone needing help with finding purposeful direction and guidance as they walk through life.
