Anna is an incredible therapist - she is engaged, insightful, patient, and exceptionally kind. I have made more progress over the last several months working with her than I have during the past several years of therapy with other counselors. She has an impressive intuition for when I am “ready” to be challenged or given thought-provoking homework, and her mastery of therapeutic tempo, knowledge of related texts and theories, diverse life experience, fabulous humor, and deep empathy makes her truly impactful. I’m so happy to have found her!

More about me
Years in Practice: 4
I have been working alongside people on their path to healing for almost ten years, and I have found that by meeting people exactly where they are at, for who they truly are the healing can be both rewarding and groundbreaking. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's in Social Work from the University of Texas at San Antonio. I am a US Army combat Veteran and a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community. I am a trauma-informed, patient-centered therapist, trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy and I also utilize trauma centered and mindfulness approaches.
I have worked with individuals from very diverse backgrounds, abilities, orientations, cultures and personal belief's, and each person's life experiences are a part of their healing process. While working with me the goals that you want to work on will be the center of our time together. You bring the need, and I'll supply the tools that can empower you to find what it is that you are looking for in your life.
Unconditional acceptance was shown to me which allowed me to find my own voice and strength in a world that just is. Allow me to do the same for you.
About online counseling
Online counseling allows you to receive care from an online mental health practitioner via phone, video chat, or instant messaging. It is convenient for those who may have trouble getting to or would prefer not to have in-person therapy appointments. Ranging from $35 to $80 per week, online counseling is generally more affordable than in-person counseling. A study by researchers at University of California, Berkeley found that online counseling can be just as effective as face-to-face therapy while being more convenient, affordable, and accessible.
